Recipe «Holiday Coffeenog» presented in category Recipes / Coctails, to prepare this dish you will need no more 10 minutes. To make this dish at home by prescription from the author shef would need: 1/2 gal vanilla bean ice cream - softened, 1 pt heavy cream, 1 qt half and half, 1 1/2 c superfine sugar, 4 Tbsp monin vanilla syrup , 2 tsp ground nutmeg, 1 pinch salt, 1 c amaretto or spiced rum .

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 gal vanilla bean ice cream - softened 
  • 1 pt heavy cream 
  • 1 qt half and half 
  • 1 1/2 c superfine sugar 
  • 4 Tbsp monin vanilla syrup 
  • 2 tsp ground nutmeg 
  • 1 pinch salt 
  • 1 c amaretto or spiced rum 

Instructions

  1. Scoop softened ice cream into a large mixing bowl and put under mixer on low. As ice cream starts to get creamy, add in eggs, espresso, heavy cream, half and half, vanilla syrup, nutmeg, and pinch of salt. Keep mixing until eggnog is frothy. Pour into punch bowl. Add the amaretto or spiced rum if you choose. Sprinkle with nutmeg to top.
