On a cold winters eve whether spending alone in front of the fire with a good book, or a night playing cards or watching movies with friends, this will warm your taste buds! I have split up the batter and given as gifts at Holiday time!
Recipe «Hot Buttered Rum» presented in category Recipes / Coctails, to prepare this dish you will need no more 10 minutes. To make this dish at home by prescription from the author shef would need: 2 lb powdered sugar, 1/2 gal softened french vanilla ice cream, 2 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp nutmeg, rum or brandy of choice , hot boiling water, whipped cream .
Ingredients:
- 2 lb powdered sugar
- 1/2 gal softened french vanilla ice cream
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp nutmeg
- rum or brandy of choice
- hot boiling water
- whipped cream
Instructions
- mix all above ingredients and freeze
- to make a mug....8-10 oz boiling water add 2-3 Tbs of the batter and add 1 jigger of Rum or Brandy of choice
stir and enjoy. Can be topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg
