Make your own marinated goats cheese to serve as a gourmet starter with olives and baguette rounds.

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 240g aged goat's cheese*, 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced, 2 tsp thyme leaves, 2 tsp oregano leaves, 1/4 tsp dried chilli flakes , 1/3 cup nicoise olives*, 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1 tbsp red wine vinegar , Baguette, to serve.
Ingredients:
- 240g aged goat's cheese*
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp thyme leaves
- 2 tsp oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp dried chilli flakes
- 1/3 cup nicoise olives*
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- Baguette, to serve
Instructions
- Slice the aged goat's cheese into six 1cm slices and place a slice on each serving plate.
- Sprinkle with the red onion, thyme leaves, oregano leaves, chilli flakes and nicoise olives.
- Drizzle with the extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar.
- Cover with plastic wrap and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving with slices of baguette.
