Ingredients:

  • 125ml thickened cream 
  • 125ml scotch whisky 
  • 2 tbsp raw caster sugar 
  • 1L freshly brewed espresso coffee, chilled 
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder, sifted 
  • Pinch ground nutmeg 
  • Chocolate latte sticks , to serve 

Instructions

  1. Use an electric beater to whisk the thickened cream in a large bowl until firm peaks form.
  2. Combine 1 1/2 tablespoons of the whisky and 2 teaspoons of the sugar in the base of each of four 310ml (1 1/4-cup) capacity serving glasses. Pour over the coffee and stir to combine.
  3. Top each coffee with a dollop of whipped cream. Combine cocoa and nutmeg in a fine sieve and sprinkle over cream. Serve with latte sticks.
